  • Kumihimo Double Density Disks are made of 3/4" (20mm) thick foam—double the thickness of our standard kumihimo disks!
  • The additional tension created by the increased thickness is useful when braiding Tex 135 S-Lon, #12 Pearle silk, and 30G (or smaller) wire.
  • Like our original kumihimo disks, the Double Density disks are available in your choice of two sizes in retail-ready packages of one disk or bulk packages of 10 disks.
  • The large disk (KD606, KD607) is 6" in diameter, and the Kumihimo Double Density Mini Disk (KD608, KD609) is 4-1/4" in diameter.
  • Both are compatible with our Kumi Handle (KDHOLD).
  • Both disk packages include illustrated braiding instructions.
