The Bead District, formerly called EVERICH, is a jewelry store that specializes in retail and wholesale of semi precious stones, pearls, gold, sterling silver and custom work.  

Founded in 1996, by Ping and Lynn Chen, two Taiwanese immigrants who met in Miami while they were studying at FIU. It was always Lynn’s dream to have her own business. She was working jewelry trade shows, in and out of the family's garage for over 10 years, constantly on the move until one day she decided it was just too cumbersome for one woman to handle. Soon after saving enough money, she decided to open a brick and mortar at the former MetroMall jewelry center. 

What started as a tiny, hole-in-the-wall shop, quickly expanded into becoming one of Miami’s largest bead stores at MetroMall. After MetroMall was closed down by the city, we relocated to our current location to keep the legacy alive. Our clients come from all around the world and many have been with us for over 20 years, particularly from North America, South America, Asia, Africa, and Europe.
